During a sound session, participants often experience a deep state of relaxation, like a meditative state, where tension and worries melt away. The soothing sounds can also aid in improving sleep quality, as the calming frequencies encourage the mind to release anxiety and tension. Moreover, sound therapy's healing properties can benefit anyone from all walks of life. Whether used as a complimentary practice alongside traditional medicine or as a stand alone therapy, the gentle power of sound can foster a sense of peace and rejuvenation, nurturing both the mind and body bringing you into balance.
Group sessions are offered one to two times a month. They are scheduled on the Momoyoga app.
Crystal bowls, gongs, wind chimes and other healing instruments are used in these sound sessions. Please bring a blanket or any other items to get comfortable. **Bolsters, mats and blankets are available in the studio for your convenience**

~Healing Through Energy ~
Reiki is an energy healing practice that is deeply calming and therapeutic. It can aid in reducing stress and anxiety and encourage relaxation, by balancing the energy systems of the body.
In a Reiki treatment hands are placed over a person's body to transfer healing energy.

~Release and Restore ~
Somatic movement is a practice that emphasizes internal physical perception and experience, reconnecting with the body and finding a sense of wholeness and balance. This class starts with about five minutes of light breath work. From there transitioning into movement with poses on the floor, guiding into gentle flowing in standing movement. The movement in this class is a repetitive sequence allowing you to connect inward to body and breath.
Release built-up emotions, let go of stress, trauma and learn skills to help manage life.

Gentle, still, supportive class with 4-6 poses. Each posture will be held five to seven minutes (on the floor). We will end class with soothing sound, with the crystal singing bowls and chimes in a restful state lying on mats.
(Mats, bolsters, blankets and eye pillows are provided in this class)

This class is a series of long-held passive floor poses, held between 3-5 minutes.
This class is a beginner friendly class and great for runners and lifters needing to stretch those hamstrings, glutes and shoulders.

This class is a guided meditation, helpful for relieving stress, anxiety and helps promote good sleep. This class ends with a longer rest with the crystal singing bowls.
Sound healing is a holistic health practice that uses sound meditation and intention to affect positive change in the mind, body and spirit. This healing practice, is led in a reclined position or laying down. These theories of energy are used to clear and balance a person's subtle energy centers, clearing stresses, blockages, helping with anxiety, insomnia and pain. The full sound bath experience includes the crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, Tibetan bowls and other healing instruments.
